Events

Our events have been praised for their warm and welcoming atmosphere and the magical experience of seeing portraits made on tin with Victorian cameras. We often work in collaboration with a number of local artists, vintage retailers and cake makers, so there is always a lot of lovely stuff to enjoy at our events, including a dressing-up box replete with fancy dress clothes, unusual props and Victorian costume, art stalls and home-made cakes.

New Year’s Portrait Event, London

We’re available for a range of events, from parties and weddings to steampunk and neo-Victorian festivals to parties, fundraisers and fêtes. Images can be made on clear glass, coloured glass, metal and acrylic. Because of the nature of the process each image is unique and non reproducible, it is a one of a kind. The process from clear glass to the finished image, sealed with a nineteenth century lavender varnish takes around twenty minutes or less. Plate sizes can be from 5″x4″ up to 12″x15″.
