John and I were so happy to be invited to participate in the IWPride Arts Festival, as part of a fabulous LGBT+ photography project called See Me, exhibited at Space 5 in East Cowes. We stayed with lovely local artist, Julie Wright and partner for the first week of June , tutoring local artists in the wet plate collodion process. The idea behind the ‘See Me’ project was  for members of the Isle of Wight LGBT+ community to take portraits of themselves and each other, but the definition of portraits ranged from faces to hands and objects of special importance, representing a range of amazing stories of life and experience. Below, you can see a gallery of some of the images created in the workshops, which will be displayed at Space 5 later in the summer, during Pride Week.
